Power Flushing
Power flushing is the most efficient and effective method of cleansing a central heating system. Status Heating are able to provide this service so your central heating works efficiently and reliably - ultimately saving you money.
What is powerflushing?
If your Central Heating system is old, or maybe the right chemicals were not added at the time of installation, you may find that there are “cold spots” in the system. This can be caused by a build up of sludge which blocks the pipework and radiators.
Sometimes the only way to clear these blockages is to flush the system using a machine that pumps the water round at a high velocity to remove the blockages out of the system. Once cleaned out, the correct chemical inhibitor is added to prevent blockages reoccurring.
How does it work and how much does it cost?
At Status Heating we provide a proper flushing service, using Sentinel and Fernox Power flushing machines.
A proper powerflush or pipe flush will take several hours and can cost from £275.00 including VAT
